Orla Nealis

Hi there, I’m Orla! I’m a mom of 3 living outside Drogheda. I am a qualified postpartum doula, breastfeeding counsellor, birth debriefing facilitator, and I’m currently working towards a diploma in antenatal education. After my own difficult start to motherhood during the pandemic, I quickly realised the importance of having support during this huge transition. I discovered a huge passion for holding space for parents during pregnancy and postpartum, and I’ve been fully immersed in this world ever since.

As a doula, my job is to put myself out of a job! Leaving you feeling empowered and capable as a parent is my biggest goal. I want to help you to feel confident in following your instincts, and informed enough to be able to make decisions for you and your family. You’ve got all of this in you already. All I will do is hold space for you, support you and help you find the information you need so that you can realise that you don’t actually need me after all!
