I am a full spectrum birth and postpartum doula offering support in Dublin. I am here to help you navigate your way around pregnancy, birth and the postpartum period, and to support your decisions regardless of the pregnancy outcome. I believe everyone deserves respect, dignity and support.
I realise that every person and experience is unique, and I aim to offer individualised care to my clients. I can be your support person, your confidant, your cheerleader, your anchor, your sounding board, your encyclopaedia, your Marie Kondo and your sister. Sometimes you might just need my hands to hold, my ears that listen, my arms to carry a bit of the weight, my shoulders to cry on or my words of compassion and encouragement. I can help you find out what feels right to you, what the values are that will guide your decisions, and what your strengths and resources are.
I am very enthusiastic about self-care, solid antenatal preparation and working with partners, and I tailor my message to the recipient and make sure we are on the same page. We will probably laugh a lot, too.
As a psychologist I understand how past experiences can affect your reality, and I can be there for you when you need to overcome difficulties, get to a place where you feel safe and empowered, and thrive through the adventure that a new baby brings into your life. I realise that many people don’t have a village to rally around them and offer their expertise and support in the postpartum period, some don’t have their families living close, and some can’t rely on any support at all. As a postpartum doula I can bridge that gap while you have time to recover, bond with your baby and settle into the new chapter of your lives.
I work with international families, single parents, LGBTQ parents, parents of preemies, loss, mental health problems and previous trauma, to name a few, but I mainly work with the unique person you are.
