Kirsty Williams

Hi, I’m Kirsty, a birth, VBAC and postpartum doula based in County Galway.  As a mother of three , I’ve experienced the transformative power of parenthood firsthand. That’s what led me to become a doula – someone who provides unwavering support during pregnancy, birth and the postpartum period.

My journey began in 2021 when I completed my training with DoulaCare Ireland. Since then I’ve had the privilege of supporting families on their unique birth and postpartum journeys. Whether it’s offering evidence based information, practical supports or simply being a calming presence, Im here to empower and nurture.

I believe that every family and journey is unique. My goal? To meet you where you’re at. Whether you’re seeking a VBAC, planning a homebirth or navigating the hospital environment, I’ll be by your side. I want you to feel empowered, confident and fully supported throughout your pregnancy, birth and beyond.

During postpartum recovery, I prepare warming, nourishing meals and snacks that provide comfort and healing. From hearty soups/ broths to energy – boosting, one-handed snacks , I believe that good food plays a vital role in supporting new parents during this transformative time. Postpartum support includes infant feeding support, infant care, holding space, babywearing guidance, light housework, support with siblings  and over night support so that parents can get some much-needed rest.

Pregnancy, birth and postpartum is such a special and scared journey and I’d be honoured to be part of your journey as you welcome new life into the world.
