My name is Aisling. I live in Kildare with my husband and our four children, my three daughters and my stepson. I have been a mother for almost twenty years. I have worked with children and families since 2005. I began my career as a Montessori teacher, having been drawn to study the Montessori method of Education. I worked in and later managed a Montessori school in Dublin from 2005 – 2012. I have further qualifications in Advanced Supervision in Childcare and Counselling for childhood stress. From 2012 – 2019 I worked in a class for Autistic children and I also ran a class for Neurodivergent children.
My most recent qualification and favourite of them all is training and qualifying as a Postpartum Doula with DoulaCare Ireland. This was a dream come true. The Postpartum/Postnatal period is something I am hugely passionate about, and being able to support families in the fourth trimester brings me so much joy. It is such an honour to be a part of this journey with a family. Each family I work with is unique, so my support is adjusted and tailored to meet the needs of each individual family. My goal is to provide non-judgmental physical, emotional and practical support.
