I have a deep passion for nurturing and empowering mothers during the postpartum period. My aim is to provide guidance to help you navigate the challenges and joys of new motherhood and to make a smooth adjustment to life with your new baby. Using non-medical care, I provide physical and emotional support.
In addition I provide household assistance, for example; I can look after the baby if parents need a sleep to get some much needed rest. I can also prepare food, I love food and I am a very good cook. I aim to create a safe and supportive space for you to thrive. I do not take over care of your baby, but assist you in learning to care for your baby’s needs yourself. I help the family adjust to the new person in their life.
I have been a mother for 24 years, I have three children. I love being a mother and as my children got bigger I missed them being babies. So I opened a
childminding business, all the children I have had, I love them like my own. I am a carer that enjoys their job. I decided to become a postpartum doula as I’ve been helping friends and family with their newborns during what can be an overwhelming time. Our grandmothers had community support that is missing in modern life, so I want to give that support to as many women as I can. “If a doula were a drug, it would be unethical not to use it.” – Dr. John Kennell
