Michelle Mayefske

Michelle is a size friendly certified Birth and Postpartum Doula with ProDoula. She has experience supporting families in both the United States and Ireland. Her main service area is the midwest and she has worked with expectant parents in Limerick, Galway, Cork, Clonmel and Portlaoise.

Michelle has experience supporting people with all different backgrounds and circumstances. She specialises in supporting plus size birth and those who have experienced a prior birth trauma or negative birth experience in the past. Michelle is also an advocate for plus size birth and the author of Fat Birth, a collection of positive plus size birth stories.

In addition to being a Birth and Postpartum Doula, Michelle is also a hypnobirthing teacher and offers placenta encapsulation services. She feels honoured to provide personalised, loving support to growing families. Her commitment lies in offering non-judgmental, unbiased care that is tailored to each family’s unique needs.

Michelle is a mum of five, a lover of coffee and travel.
